We were in South Africa for the Tech4Africa conference and I couldn't have imagined a better trip. Rich & Susie first picked us up from the airport and brought us to an amazing Villa in Camps Bay Cape Town. We were treated to a luxurious home made dinner and then toured around the area for the next few days on specialty wine tastings. We even got to try wines that were not on the menu because the guides they provided were friends of the vineyard owners. After the spectacular views, they brought us to the conference in Jo'Burg where we again had a great time and never felt like we had to worry about where to be when. The kicker was the post-conference trip to Tau Game Reserve where we had three days of amazing food, several trips into the bush where we saw all the animals we were eager to photograph, not to mention have spa treatments and a full gourmet meal under the stars with firelight all around us. We had such a great time in South Africa, and with Rich & Susie themselves that we absolutely want to go back as soon as possible. We even hope that they come visit us in San Francisco one day! We recommend African Avenue to all our of friends looking to tour SA, there is no better group to provide such an engaging experience.
